Luís Coelho is a Portuguese guitarist and composer based in Shanghai, with more than 25 years on stage. His playing folds Rock, Mediterranean and World Music into soaring, melodic compositions, moving from the drive of electric rock to the intimacy of the nylon-string guitar.
A top-15 finalist of Guitar Idol III, Luís has toured across Asia and Europe, recorded for television including The Voice of China, and performed everywhere from the ATP Masters in Shanghai to a solo residency at Disneyland Shanghai and, more recently, entertaining audiences at sea.
Between tours he shares new sessions on his YouTube channel and teaches guitar, helping new players find the song already in their hands.
